The ONLY moving parts on an RV Absorption Fridge would be cooling fan(s) located mid-center of the cooling unit (backside of fridge).
Fan(s) are installed (needed) when fridge is installed in a slide out.
Fan(s) are even installed to improve draft (air flow) needed for proper cooling
Fan(s) are controlled by a t-stat located on condenser (fins at top) and turn on fan(s) when fill temp reaches 150*F and turn back off when fin temp drops below 130*F (Dometic uses higher temp t-stat....lower ones available)
Fan(s) can be VERY noisy especially when failing/dirty etc.
Depending on access.......most times one has to partially remove fridge to get to fan(s)
