Norocold Fridge Issue ?

I have never had a fridge issue on this trailer since I owned it brand new in 2008. I was up near Big Bear this weekend for an annual trip and I noticed my fridge lights blinking indicating my fridge was not running on propane. I noticed the pilot light was not lit and it kept trying to light it but would not light. I would turn off and back and and sometimes it would light and run for a while then later I would notice blinking lights again. I fought with this all weekend long. I was pretty level too just slightly front end down a bit. Had plenty of propane too.
Any general thoughts on what I can check when im off work?
Thanks
  • I have not had time to check it since I got home. So Im at my spot no hookups and I notice my fridge lights blinking. I turned it off and on again and you can hear it clicking trying to light the burner. After i did that a couple times sometimes it would light and later I would check it and blinking again. I thought the propane was empty. I ran the burners and they lit right up but really I think they were burning kind of like they were struggling but all were on. I ran my water heater after that and it seemed normal. I took off my outside cover and could see the pilot light or whatever you call it was out. After a few offs then back on I could get it to light and the flame seemed normal but then later it would go out. I fought this the whole trip but set it on auto so when the generator was on it would run normally. I thought it was an altitude issue but never had this problem..

    Thanks
  • Could be propane regulator acting up at elevation....how do the flames on stove top burners look? Strong steady.....does water heater fire up without issues?

Could be fridge Flame Sensor.......The spark electrode for the main flame (it's a small flame but not a pilot it's the main flame) ignites the main flame AND is used as a flame prover back to circuit board.
If it is not in proper position (directly over flame and engulf by flame),
if it is not properly gaped (1/8" to 3/16"---tip to burner),
if it is dirty (carboned up)
OR if burner slots are dirty the flame will not stay lit.
  • Dirty burner. bad battery. I doubt you have a pilot light.
