Note in the commentary under Method 2 that the author says it is not perfect balance, either, for the four batteries he shows.
For perfect balance betweeen our two paralleled coach batteries I added a change not mentioned for Method 2. I doubled the cable size (as compared to the large cables already going to/from the batteries) right between the two batteries to further reduce any residual very small imbalance currents to ensure perfect balance over and above what the hookup method itself is achieving.
I vote for Method 3 to take away all doubts and guarantee balancing perfection for all paralleled battery quantities of three batteries on up.
