The USA is the only country still using the Inch, pound, seconds units of measurements everyone else has gone to Meters, Grams, Seconds.
Not quite the case, John. Liberia and Myanmar also have not adopted the International System of Units (SI) metric system as their official system of weights and measures. Myanmar uses the Burmese units of measurement, and Liberia still adheres to the imperial standards. In the United Kingdom metric is the official system for most regulated trading by weight or measure purposes, but some imperial units remain the primary official unit of measurement. For example, miles, yards, and feet remain the official units for road signage – and use of imperial units is widespread.
I was visiting a factory in England some years ago to inspect some new equipment, and overheard an electrician ask a helper to cut a length of wire "about a meter four inches long." :)
