I use a combination of heaters:
In a normal winter, the outside temperature here seldom goes above 25° and the inside temperature in the trailer is usually in the range of 73°-74°.
The built in thermostats in the electric heaters aren't very accurate, so I use Lux® WIN-100 electronic thermostats which are powered by internal lithium AA cells.
The Suburban® furnace uses outside air for combustion and the exhaust is vented outside. It is necessary to keep these vents clear of ice and snow.
I spend my winters within 10 miles of the "Cheddar Curtain" where temperatures frequently go well below zero F.
- 1500 Watt oil filled radiator with thermostat set for 75°.
- 1250 Watt "milk house" heater with thermostat set for 73°.
- Suburban® propane furnace with thermostat set for 68°.
