A 1500 watt electric heater will put out about 5,100BTU.
Our Suburban propane heater in the trailer is 30,000BTU.
Therefore you will get a lot less heat from the electric heater.
The electric heater might be ok to take the chill off a cool night if you keep it plugged in and running.
If you wake up in the morning and want to heat up the trailer fast, the propane heater will work fast. The electric will take a long time to raise the temperature.
Each type could have its place, depending on what you want it to do.
