I normally run two of these low profile oil-filled electric heaters. We will have one setting in the hallway near the door and the other one sitting on a flat board back in the corner of the daytime catch-all bed end. I will connect these to the 20AMP pedestal service using an extension cord run into the trailer. I am not a fan of having any electric heater that has a open flame or red hot core. Just too dangerous for us to have around our trailer.

It seems to me it is much better to use the site electric then your propane fuel.
If we need to move some warm air around the trailer I can put one of these O2COOL AC/DC/D-cell 10-inch fans behind the electric heater. Perfect size for this...

We also will set the propane furnace to real low setting like maybe 40-45 degrees so that if the night temp drops real low we will have some heat from the propane furnace.
Our propane furnace is way too big for our POPUP trailer and runs us out in no time flat. It also makes a whole lot of noise.... We only use it for a back-up mode heater.
