OEM Wheels Rating

I have a 2011 Ford F350. The tires on it are E and rated for a max of 3650 lbs. Trying to figure out the max rating for the wheels. Anybody know where to find that information? I have been unsuccessful so far online.

Thanks, Marty.

Thanks for posting this. My wheels are 17" not 18" so their max, per the link, is 3,195 lbs.

I think the O.P. is looking for max rim PSI too, which number I don't see at that page. Why they stamp it on the inside surface of the wheel is beyond me...
  • thanks for the replies. Bought the truck used, and the dealer put new tires on it, so my tires are not OEM. Will see if I can find it on the wheel itself.

    Thanks again.
  • Should be on the wheel itself. But I had my tire removed by my tire shop and they looked high and low and could not figure out where the rating was. If anybody every can figure it out for my trucks wheels I sure would like to know!!!
  • Stamped on the wheel - mine was same as OEM tire. My rig came with D rated tires and D rated rims .. when I migrated to E rated tires I kept the tire pressure at D (suppose to keep tire pressure based on weight or rig not tire label) which insured nice ride and no danger of busting wheel.
  • Normally the wheels are stamped. Location can be on the inside lip of the rim.
You may need to take the information to a dealer.
