- pnicholsExplorer II..... and David ..... here's "a summation" of what a battery supplier in Florida told be over the phone yesterday when I inquired about ordering a couple of Group 31 Rolls Surrette 12 volt deep cycle AGM batteries for our RV:
"You might want to order the equivalent Full River battery model instead (cheaper and shorter lead time) ... as Rolls Surrette does not yet actually manufacture this AGM model themselves. They have Full River make it for them - but with the battery labeled as a Rolls Surrette battery."
It looks the Ch%*ese are taking over Canada, too. - MEXICOWANDERERExplorerFXR Renewable Series Inverter Charger

No one has mentioned the above NEW MODEL Outback inverter chargers. The above is an excerpt from a message sent to me from Alternative Energy Engineering, of which I am a micro-dealer.
Trace had adjustable charging voltage and time setpoints PLUS generator boosting backup 20-years ago. I ridicule the point it took so long for them to see the light. Why am I so hard on this industry? The Chinese are going to come along and kick uncle sam's butt alongside his nose if the USA does not get it in gear. The USA is becoming a third-world nation - FAST. Complacent (read arrogant) USA car manufacturers slit their own throat. What is it with this country? Slovenly slump in a recliner with a bottle of beer perched on their belly, attitude, while at work. Legalize Drugs. Institutionalize Unemployment. - NaioExplorer III don't think the sheep need Trojans.
- NinerBikesExplorerSheesh, and all this time I thought Outback had something to do with lonely New Zealander ranchers and sheep farming, but then, looking at it being David posting, something told me it had to be battery charging related if the term "Trojan" wasn't in the post.

That FAQ could answer half the questions on this board ;)
A wild guess on my part, but David may have meant for us to click on and read the third topic down on this Outback POWER page ( :h and ;) ) :

Sarcasm often flies too high for the mass market.
Sometimes a good joke is just like a good charger. Limited appeal. - pnicholsExplorer IIA wild guess on my part, but David may have meant for us to click on and read the third topic down on this Outback POWER page ( :h and ;) ) :
http://outbackpower.com/outback-support/frequently-asked-questions - MEXICOWANDERERExplorerThe product is new and rather than rip my face off over a botched URL maybe the best course is to actually twinkle your digits across the keyboard and go there and look for what's new in INVERTERS.
Never been to a Backout restaurant but if they do not offer a giant slab of beef topped with a pair of eggs sunny side up the place is a fraud. That's genuine station fare. Also do they serve mutton? How about Shepherd's Pie? Fone-Ee Fone-Ee...
Getting back on track I was hoping to maintain the subject above double digit IQ level. The focus being to get rid of off-grid smart charging and make available a program that the battery prefers. Or is this such an advance that some of you are unable to follow? A Power Pedestal Princess and her owner does not care about battery charging. Boondockers know the difference. Mushrooms? Come on down and I'll fix you up with sauteed mushrooms that'll remove your liver through your nose. - MEX, what is your Outback controller set to?
