Oil recommendations cold weather generator
Hi, I joined the "dark side" last spring and bought a Yamaha 3000 sIEB generator. I'm going to need to run it at -30 c (-22 F). Any suggestions as to the viscosity of oil I should use?

I'd recommend either a 5W-30 or even a 0W-30. Just make sure your battery is up to snuff. I'm thinking about getting a remote start kit for mine. Perhaps we should go in together on this when you head south. Lots cheaper down there.
