Profdant, Olympian manual suggests total 24 square inches opening, i.e. if you have 2 windows each 2ft long, each window should be open 1/2". Just a crack.
Any non-vented heater needs ventilation to provide air inflow.
CO sensor should be operational as well. Catalytic heaters burn less oxygen and generate less CO and CO2 than open-flame heaters, but it's better to be safe.
