CO detector with data logging, Mex. $20 devices from Amazon - not sure. I believe there are standalone CO loggers as well, some are very expensive.
Olympian can't be compared to kerosene heater. I doubt it generates (much) particulate matter.
But I remember big cloud of dust emerging from my floor registers every time when I was using a furnace. Holes in the floor - of course they collect dust, what else :)... Will probably close them for good, now that I don't use the furnace anymore.
