LP liquid systems vaporize the propane just after the fuel solenoid at the generator. As propane vaporizes, a small amount of heavy oil drops out and could clog the solenoid or the vaporizer. Most manufacturers install a small piece of pipe hanging down just past the fuel solenoid and it has a small pipe cap on it to drain the liquid. Try this first -- is cheap. Beware, the stuff stinks.
