Onan 2.7kw genset generator connection
Im trying to figure out how to wire a standard ac wall receptacle to my Onan 2.7.kw genset. The lables on the wires were cut off by previous owner and i dont know whats what.
says 120 vac 60hz on cover and under it there is four wires.. Two are white that run into the engine housing {load wires i presume} and two Black wires, both of these are screwed into the back of the electrical box housing as if both grounds but one has a large capacitor looking thing connected to it? Maunal says its a two wire single phase. Is it both white wires that i would connect one each to both sides of receptacle and one of the blacks to the green ground screw?
Somebody help me plz so i dont electrocute my self or more importantly than that damage the machine.
