- pnicholsExplorer IIThe Onan spec sheet here:
https://powersuite.cummins.com/PS5/PS5Content/SiteContent/en/Binary_Asset/pdf/Consumer/specsheets/a-1399.pdf
says it should burn 0.5 Gal/hr at half load (putting out 16.65 amps) and 0.7 Gal/hr at full load (putting out 33.3 amps).
Just as reference, this "roughly" means that it will run your air conditioner for about 2 hours on one gallon of gas. - Triker33ExplorerIt's true that it will use .3 gal/hr, no load to .8 gal/hr full load.
No matter what model/Series it is. - coolbreeze01ExplorerFigure a gallon an hour. It will burn that or less :C
- TEXASExplorerNot true for all units. This is why we need to know what unit.

Unless you are below about 1/4 tank on gasoline.
From the factory owners manual for Onan 4 kw 60 HZ gas gennys:
.3 gal/hr, no load
.5 gal/hr half load
.7 gal/hr full load
From the factory owners manual for Onan 4 kw 60 HZ LPG gennys:
.4 gal/hr no load
.6 gal/hr half load
.7 gal/hr full load
for 50 hz gennys, slightly less.
