ON old RV had 6200 hours on 5500, ran like clock. call onan for valve work. JMO
The Onan 5500 manual says it's necessary to "Adjust Valve Lash" and "Clean or Replace Cylinder Heads" every 450 hours. Adjusting the valves seems reasonable . . . however, not sure what to make of the requirement to pull/clean both heads (and potentially replace them) every 450 hours :?
