Start by checking the receptacle for power. Use a thirty to 15 adapter with one of small pug in receptacle tester.
Does it work plugged into a known good power source.
Either of these tests will show which direction to proceed.
If receptacle is dead, follow wiring toward genset. Normally should have junction box adjacent to it where wiring types are changed.
Power at receptacle. Turn off all circuit breakers in the 120 volt distribution panel applying light pressure toward off. Then turn main breaker on followed by branch breakers one at a time.
