If you get it running a few minutes with SeaFoam in a separate can of gas, that cleaner'll work on the blockage even if the genny's not running. Let it soak awhile, then re-start. If you can get it running steady, that's OK too. If the Control Board is shutting it down for voltage reasons, this strategy of course won't help.
People we bought our coach (with ONAN Microlite 4KY), they'd recently replaced Carb and Control Board. Then let it stand and the carb gummed up. I found that I could get it running and it'd run for hours IF there was always a load on it. The problem was clearly in the "idle" circuit. I put "idle" in quotes because it always running 3600-rpm so it doesn't sound like it's idling. It IS idling when no load, however. The Throttle Plate is nearly closed and the fuel is coming through different and much smaller passages. I mention this because I wonder if you'll get different results Load and No-Load.
In our case, I ended up replacing the Carburetor.
