Hi CT,
He will have 400 amp-hours to play with before he hits 50% of capacity. That gives him, in theory, 4800 watt-hours. So he can use a 1500 watt heater for three hours, or he can use the energy in other ways.
I do run some small 100 watt heaters as anti freeze protection for the fresh water and waste tanks. I also run 25 watts for fridge anti freeze protection. I can do a single night at -6 C (20 F) and not burn any propane. I no longer have a generator. I do prefer to have shore power, of course.
I've ordered a hall effect watt meter so I'll have some real life data in about a year (no point it worrying about the summer time).
