How short is that 1/0? If it's longer than a couple of feet, go larger. You want LOW voltage drop for high draw items. Although you can probably get away with the 1/0 on a long-ish run (6 feet) if the high draw item is on for 10 minutes or so. If you go to 15 plus minutes, you need larger wire.
