Hi Jeff,
I prefer separate components. I'd go with just an inverter--and if necessary upgrade or replace the converter. That's also about $400.00 cheaper to do than having the inverter/charger selected.
I don't understand what the remote panel on the inverter does.
I'd suggest the Victron monitor instead of the Magnum.

What is the largest load? 1500 might be small for a full size microwave.
