Hi Jeff,
Capacity at -40 C on my bank drops from a theoretical 875 amp-hours down to about 126 amp-hours.
Recharge voltage ought to be quite a bit higher at colder temperatures. BFL13 is running a thread on this right now.
Operating temperature range for the Cobra 2500 watt is 0 C (32 F) to 40 C (104 F). Storage temperatures are -40 C to 85 C (185 F). I would imagine those temperatures are typical for inverters.
That said, I have operated my Cobra at -27.7 C (-18 F)
The Blue Sky 3024di solar charge controller that I use sometimes causes the inverter to fault from high input voltage.
