pianotuna - My drain pipes are exposed so I will add the ultraheat...right now there's just one pad on each tank. And I'll definitely look into the recirculation system. I have an on-demand propane water heater and the tapes would run on 12v, so once I go to solar that would be cost-free. I'll look into it and see what works for me...thanks for the suggestion.
Sounds like I can mount my inverter at the same place you did. The battery bank will be right behind the driver seat outside the rig, so I can run a line into the cabin and mount the inverter on the wall.
I was also thinking about putting the fuse right next to it (inside the cabin)...then rather than adding a switch I'll just remove the fuse to break the circuit. What do you think?
