Point taken on the fuse and switch.
Piano - No...I meant my heater is propane but the *heat tape* will run on 12v. My point was that 12v would be powered by solar (eventually) and not require me to keep filling up on propane like the recirculator would...so regardless of which uses less energy it still may be beneficial for me to use the heat tape. I'll definitely look into the recirculator, though.
