Ok maybe I need to reread the entire thread :R
You have a set of AGM under the bed, Magnum 2000 inverter close and connected to the AGMs with big wire. Now you want to use the Magnum to charge these batteries and another battery or two on the tongue. The issue is ampacity from the Magnum to these other batteries.
What is the existing wire size? If it has 105C insulation and it is not wrapped then #6 should be fine even if it gets a bit warm. If it is a single wet cell (or even two) you will probably never get 100 amps through the wire and into the battery anyway. I would probably fuse the wire at 80 amps and see how it does. Bring a spare and dial down the Magnum if the 80 amp fuse opens.
