I'm missing something, then.
If I leave the converter and bypass the Amp-L-Start, power would be going on this path when I'm not plugged in: NewBank>Inverter>Converter>OldBattery. That seems less efficient than unplugging the converter and going NewBank>Amp-L-Start>OldBattery.
What am I missing?
