wa8yxm has a point. If the TV operates while not plugged in, no generator, engine turned off, it is operating normally on an inverter. An interlock that prevents current to the TV while the engine is running has activated to keep the TV off while driving anytime the engine is running.
If the TV does not operate under those circumstances, you will have to search for the inverter. The inverter in my MH is at floor level directly below the kitchen sink. It does have an ON/OFF switch on its face.
