Our setup ... I know it's different from yours but .... gives you an idea. 1 12v Group 27 Deep Cycle. All LED lights, do not use an inverter, so very little on battery use when we dry camp 4-5 day @ a whack, majority of the time we are out, which is often. We have a 135w panel, 25ft. cable and a Morningstar SS-10L 10A / 12V controller. It is portable and have used it for 2 years now and no it does ... "not sit in the storage bay the majority of the time cuz I'm lazy". It is also used at home to keep the battery charged instead of shore power. Takes maybe 10 minutes to set up & take down if that long. I try and keep it in the optimal position to get the most out of the sun but can't always do that but it still keeps charge going into battery during daylight hours even if not pointed directly at the sun. That's my 2 cents.
