Not sure how small your camper is. Mine is about 15'. This is what I have used for four years now: ceramic heater
It has a thermostat control. When the camper reaches the level you like, you just turn the dial until it shuts off. Then it will keep it at that temperature. One time, I went camping in Kerrville, Texas during a very unusual cold spell. When I arrived at the park, the thermometer in the camper was reading 24 degrees. Within about fifteen minutes it was already in the 70s.
This unit is tiny- about the size of a toaster.
