Grizz
Not skimping at all, I can afford the 2 AWG but I am a practical person. Over kill just for the sake of overkill is waste in mt eyes. I asked because the various calculators said different things.
Now if I wanted to skimp, there are 60 amp controllers that are lessor know and cost a third of what the TS-MPPT-60 does. I could have stuck with the two monos and the Eco-ws and spent nothing at all. Even the original 230w/ Eco-w could keep us going with some conservation in all but the monsoon season.
Instead I am trying to properly set up a mounted system that will cover us in most any situation. Spending the money is fine, wasting it is not.
