Well you can go larger than 2AWG by using an adapter near the terminals like 1 to 2 gauge but there may not be much return.
My 3x serial panels have 62'(includes mfg pigtails) of 10ga wire for a 0.4% voltage drop. And then 7' of 4ga for a 0.5% voltage drop.
Correction: The above was for NOCT. Otherwise 0.5% and 0.6% drops. Still rather small.
