That could be a wash, considering any inefficiency of a higher PV voltage at the controller.
Looks like you'd have to use 4/0 cable @30vdc (parallel) to achive a line loss equal to the 105vcd (series) setup.
$300 of wire to gain 2% or 15 watts.
Is there no limit to the nonsense....
