My main concern is lessening the amount of dust that's going to end up stuck to the evaporator coils. I don't know about anyone else but cleaning our RV includes removing a lot of dust from every inside surface and obviously that stuff is floating around in the air. In humid climates a lot of condensate runs off the roof so the coil is plenty wet enough to get dust stuck to it.
