Parking 5'er on sloped driveway - scissor jacks to lift?

We just parked our new rig in the driveway, and I'm having a challenge getting it reasonably level. With our old trailer, I had set up a system to jack it up enough by temporarily setting the tongue on a tree stump and then adding planks, but with a 5'er, new techniques are required.
When we got home, I unpinned to see how level I could get without any special setup - not very. The landing gear at full extension won't do the job.
I have an Andersen hitch on the pickup, so I raised the ball to maximum, re-pinned and then set another couple of planks underneath. Better, but not level enough.
So, I'm thinking about the possibility of putting a jack under each landing pad, and cranking it up just enough so I can safely run the fridge. Everything is very well chocked under the wheels and I've got the stabilizers between the wheels as well. I don't plan to move around much in the trailer when parked like this.
Does anyone else have a better suggestion (other than 'park it somewhere else') or has anyone tried something similar?
We'll be re-paving the driveway probably in the spring and we'll see what we can do to alleviate the slope somewhat, but this is a long-term problem looking for a solution. Ideas welcomed!
  • If you use concrete blocks be sure to use them with the holes up and down not to the side. You'll have to cover the top with some lumber. The block is weak with the holes sideways and will be crushed.
  • I would build up under the front jacks with wood... then extend the jacks and preferably not all the way. Even a concrete block or two each side. I have never extended front jacks, full extension. Just me. (Sorry, know that means rehooking....)
