The 622, 722, and 722K Dish DVRs have two satellite tuners. The 622 and 722 also have a one-channel OTA tuner. The 722K does not have an OTA tuner standard, but an optional module adds 2 OTA tuners. In dual mode, each of the 2 outputs is independent and has its own remote. The second output is modulated standard definition only. When operating in dual mode, each of the 2 outputs has access to only one satellite tuner, so if it's busy recording you're out of luck for watching live. Also in dual mode, the single OTA tuner is available only to the first TV output for watching live. The workaround is for the second TV to initiate an OTA recording, then start watching it any time after the recording has started.
