I measured power use on my PD70 yesterday morning
With an output of 14.2v 64.7 amps input was 7.97 amps 122.4vac using a clamp on ac amp meter...Real power 975watts RMS?
A kill a watt meter, showed 1338VA
Peak current 10.95
You can extrapolate from there divide by 6.5 them multiple by 8
Approx 13.48amps peak? Approx 10 amps RMS
VA will be over 1646
