PD 9180 needs 20 amp cord?
Hey all, With all this converter talk recently, I noticed that the prog. dyn. PD9180/9280 converter comes with a 20 amp cord and plug. Can't tell if the cord wire is 12awg but probably. Fine. So...

I believe in OVERBUILDING.. So my 9180 eats off a 15 amp breaker, cause I needed the 20 for something else.. but it has a 20 amp plug.
I also have a 20-15 adapter I can feed it with, I can tell you how to make one but basically it's a 20 amp outlet on a 15 amp cord. Never had a problem with it,.

Which is it? Or is this one of those times when Americans call 15s 20s for whatever reason they do that? :)
