I don't have a clue which brand of converter my 5vr has........never had any issues with it so rarely even open the panel cover.
I do know that it is a 3 stage charger.
BUT I use my Xantrex Inverter/charger to maintain batteries.
I check batteries once a year........Rarely have I had to add any water. A splash or two over the past 8 yrs.
