Ok, here are 3 converters in the same spot.
55A Iota
60A PD (same graph as earlier)
Parallex 7345 (installed by Winnebago in MH)
The Iota is clearly the winner when charging from 50 to 90% soc. I don't think it's realistic to charge to 100% with gen.

Even a modified 7345 will beat the 60A PD. A voltage sense line to the battery was added.
Again, same spot.

Too long, too thin. Probably both.
ANY converter in that spot will under perform.
WFCO, forgetabout it.
IOTA, steps down to 14.2 in 15 minutes.
Powermax, steps down to 13.6 in 15 minutes.
Paramode, runs a bit low in boost unless near freezing.
What else?
