Whose reality ?
At 50% discharged, my PD (in bulk mode) has never been less than 14.2-4 v on startup. Believe what you want to.

I originally installed a PD9245 (when I had a 1K gen), later changed it to a PD9260 (when I got a 2K gen). The PD9245 is doing just fine in a friends rig. Both units always started at or near 14.4. I've seen the PD9260 put out near 60 Amps on start up into a well discharged pair of GC's.
