PD9200 limits voltage and current. The current will taper off based on the battery's natural absorbtion rate. The charger does not taper the current, it just operates at its own design maximum.
Bulk, Absorbtion, Float are battery terms more than charger terms.
If you want to hit 90% charge level as the battery shifts between bulk and absorbtion you need to size the charger accordingly. Larger will hit the peak voltage at lower charge level and a smaller charger will hit the peak level at higher state of charge.
The 9280 will do a fine job. Try not to over think the process until you are set up and charging.
