uh my pd9240, will output 41+ amps for hours if banks are low, this was verified with both a fluke and craftsman dc clamp on meters.
guess YMMV my pd9240 works flawless
Details please! What kind of wiring to the PD? How long is the wiring? What is your AC source (gen or shore)? What's the voltage on the AC source?
has the factory 30 foot 8 gauge Positive and ground 3 foot ground to frame.
2 more 8 gauge lines, both positive and ground run for 12 feet direct to battery's
thus 3 8 gauge runs with 2 independent 8 gauge runs total
connected to 2 d31 optima yellows parallel connected with 4 gauge wire.
voltage was around 124v off the grid. we did not really do any testing off the generator sorry, don't see why it would change.
it was measured pretty evenly about 18 amps per short 8 gauge with the longer 8guage making up the difference.
we also had the pendent and throwing it into boost it will show around 14.4 , with battery's sitting around 12.4.
pretty standard was an upgrade from the 3amp stock charger
