Yes, the voltage spread is just the voltage across the cabling, which is just the 60 amp current times the resistance of the cabling. As the current through the cables drops, the voltage drops accordingly.
I went to the trouble to monitor both my battery voltage and converter voltage, but with my short 1/0 cables, it's always the same or different by 0.1 for a short time (0.1 is the minimum resolution).
