One of the nice things about the PD circuit is the way it switches between the three voltages for float, boost and normal modes. They are relatively independent so I can jack up the boost mode voltage without having any effect on the other voltages.
Up to this point, I haven't seen it in boost mode except when I intentionally/manually switch it to boost mode.
