Which supports the figures you got. I find that with a mid-14s vabs, the charging rate can be used to est the SOC tapering will start as shown here. It seems that batteries are somewhat predictable

yup, it definitely was starting to taper a little at 80% and for shure by 84%. Nice to have some confirmation of what to expect. THANKS!
my next test will be to discharge to 50% and then turn on both the PD 60 and the PD45 in the distribution panel. However the PD45 has 20+ft of #4 to the battery. I did a quick check on this when I first started the last experiment and initial charge current was 100A. Any guess on how long it will hold 100A before starting to taper?
