Ain't life wonderful. This is the way "PhotoBucket" wants to send an image link to paste here. My 300-watt (real watts) LED fixture remains gobbledygook.

  • Photobucket sucks!
If it isn't an ad for wrinkle cream popping up, they keep messing with the format. I've used Photobucket for years and the first iterations were the most intuitive and easy to use.

If I had more ambition, I'd migrate my pictures hosted on PB to another website.

Yeah, RJ, this Forum isn't the best for posting pictures. I post on another where the pictures appear in thumbnails direct from my machine and that website becomes the host. If anyone wants to see the large picture, they click on the thumbnail and it's full size. "Advanced Post Form" is a large pain.

I would *itch about this site long before photo bucket.
I can copy a pic off PB, and paste it directly on my email.....simple
To post photo on this site, I first have to go get the "advanced" form.
Then go find the icon, then past the copy link into the box, then,....I forget what all to get it here.
Rediculous ! We can get to the moon, but can't simply copy a photo to a post here.

Or you could just paste the image link into your post and slap a set of image tags around it.

    [ IMG ] (photo link) [ /IMG ] (without spaces)

Special coding was used to make the brackets visible for this post.

    Use the 'direct' link:

This works for me too. PB annoys me when trying to find a pic i uploaded a while back, but recent uploads are easy to find.

  • I've used Photobucket for years with no issues. You made a mistake somewhere, not that big of a deal to admit.

Looks like you clicked on "IMG' instead of "Direct". It's really tough to get much easier to use than Photobucket.
  • I have no problem with photobucket either. Just click on the direct copy icon on the photo page of interest. The word "copied" momentarily pops up. Then paste it in the image link for this site.
  • no problem here

are you sure you copied the right thing

use the share links, not the truncated page link URL at the top of the browser
