Please help me find Molding Trim (Roof Edge Aluminum)

Dear friends,

I am in the middle of removing my old roof and replacing it with a new one. I need new molding trim for the sides but I am having difficulty finding what I need in a normal quantity. So far it seems this is the right part but it comes in a quantity of 10 which is far more than what I need. Might anyone have suggestions or hints on how to go about buying just 4 of them? Thanks!

You should be able to get trim moulding at any real RV store. I've seen various types on ebay.

Another place is at the link: https://www.all-rite.com/rv-parts-accessories.

Another and one of my favorites is Bontrager's Surplus. We stop there when we are out traveling and I prefer to look through all the stuff for those items you just have to have, but they sell on line I think. I've found they have reasonable on most things.

I'm editing this as I just looked at the all-rite site, and I have to say, they have outrageous prices.

The shipping will kill you. UPS and FedEx hate long skinny packages.

Bontrager's is great, as is Johnson's RV Surplus, which is just up the road from Bontrager's. They have literally everything, new and used, at great prices.

  • Shipping is pricey--$35-$40--so if you can get it locally you'll save. Any RV dealers nearby?
  • Village RV in Regina Sk has (or had) an aluminum shop where they could make what you want "to order". But it won't be cheap.

I'd be inclined to order 10, use 4, keep one as a spare and sell the remainder on Ebay.
