As has been described by Pianotuna, plugging in your shore power cable to your inverter to provide 120V AC to the entire RV usually works fine. That is what I do. One inverter I had would fault out when I tried it, though. My 1500W pure sine wave inverter would not run my 900W microwave. The MW pulls around 1300 VA and the inverter didn't handle it well and would shut down. A 2000W inverter could probably do it, though. I hope you have a lot of batteries if running the MW is a big deal. I'd say 4+ batteries needed to run the MW regularly or for minutes at a time.
