Here's the Extend A Flow Kit. It tees off your tank with the tee shown. Simpler then cutting into the gas pipe. Simple solution I used for about 9 years and you don't have to remove the regulator on your bbq.

Extend A Flow
It could be put together cheaper maybe if you can find the Marshall Tee that comes with the kit. That's the whole key to the kit. I bought mine in '04 for around $89.
