The vinegar fill of 2-gallons in the fresh water tank supply, was supposed to dissolve any mineral water deposits without harming the water pump OR plumbing lines/faucets.
However......I bypassed the water heater tank, thinking it (the vinegar) would harm the water heater.....
Question: Should I repeat process with say 3-gallons of vinegar, and include the water heater?
I gotta get this thing fixed, or I am afraid the hot water will cease in the shower too! That, would not be fun, i.e. cold showers!
